The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets the highest standards for veterinary care in North America. Pet care facilities that are accredited through AAHA must meet these high standards on a consistent basis in order to earn and maintain their accreditation. Choosing an AAHA accredited facility like Creekside ensures that your pet will receive the best quality veterinary care available. At our clinic, we take great pride in our AAHA accreditation, as it is a representation of our dedication to excellence in veterinary care. In fact, only about 15 percent of animal hospitals in North America are accredited through the American Animal Hospital Association—that’s about 3,000 veterinary facilities in the United States and Canada combined.
The American Animal Hospital Association is the only organization in North America that accredits companion animal hospitals. The association reviews animal hospitals based on a series of 900 quality standards that are routinely updated throughout the year. The purpose of this accreditation is to ensure the best care for animals throughout North America and to provide peace of mind to pet parents.
AAHA standards are updated on a regular basis to ensure that all accredited animal hospitals are sanitary, thorough, responsive and safe. AAHA standards cover services including, but not limited to:
Being able to trust your veterinary care provider is absolutely vital. An AAHA-accredited animal hospital will bring you peace of mind regarding all aspects of your pet’s care—from regular evaluations, to surgical procedures or pharmaceutical needs. Amond the many AAHA standards, we find that several in particular tend to bring pet parents the most comfort:
Because of the AAHA seal of approval on our doors, you can trust us to provide the highest quality veterinary care for your pet!
