Having been a pet groomer for more than 22 years, I not only love working with dogs and cats, but I enjoy getting to know the pet-parents! Pet owners are trusting me to care for their furry family members and I want to make them happy and their pet look great! I also love grooming rescued dogs which helps them feel good and look their best to help them find their forever home. Being a pet groomer is not just a job – it’s my life!
Four dogs - JoJo, Isabelle, Harley, and Mee Mee as well as many wild birds and rabbits in my yard!
I started in the dog show world and was hooked on animals, so I've been in the pet care industry since 2002! My favorite thing about pet grooming is the relationship I build with the pets and the pet parents. I also enjoy the challenge of a working with pets to help them to become more comfortable each and every time they have a grooming visit with me.
My pets include Ziggy a 7 year old mix, Gypsy my 5 year old Yorkie and Soxy my 4 year old Yorkie mix.
My favorite thing about being in the grooming field is the daily interaction with animals. I've always been drawn to dogs and cats no matter where I go so there is no other job I can imagine doing than this one - I get to see so many pets every day! It's fun for me to establish relationships with the pets and be able to maintain the haircuts that make them so cute. I fall in love with the pets at work every day and our clients' animals really start to feel like our own!
I currently have a goofy beagle dachshund mix named Richard that fills my everyday with laughter and love as well as two large orange and white main coon kitties that enjoy sleep above all else.
It is the satisfaction I get at the end of the day from helping pets have a better life.
I enjoy helping families keep their pets happy and healthy.

I have three rescues. Max is a Golden Retriever/lab mix, and Missy is a Shih Tzu. I also have one cat named Gunner.
I enjoy being able to help our furry family members live longer and healthier lives. Although I find all aspects of veterinary medicine exciting, I am particularly interested in internal medicine, feline medicine and fear free medicine.
I share my home with two cats and two Pekingese.
