Creekside is an Advocate for Your Pet’s Health

Cat Health Month is all about making sure your feline friends receive the care they need and showing them a little extra love and attention. At Creekside Pet Care Center, we make caring for your cat’s health simple with our full-service veterinary offerings, which include feline wellness plans, vaccinations, dental care and more.

Feline Wellness Plans

Cats’ healthcare needs can cost a pretty penny over the span of a year, considering all the routine vet visits, screenings, vaccines and preventative care they require. Luckily, ensuring your cat stays in tip-top shape is a breeze with our clinic’s feline wellness plans. As part of our Healthy Pet Program, Creekside’s feline wellness plans are perfectly suited for cats of all ages—from infancy through maturity—and available at a convenient monthly cost!

Even though Creekside’s Healthy Pet Program is not a form of pet health insurance, our wellness plans provide significant savings on included items. With a feline wellness plan, you’ll save up to 20% on items such as routine nose-to-tail exams, preventative care, screenings, labwork and doctor-recommended vaccines. Take a moment to learn how our Healthy Pet Program’s cat wellness plans can benefit your feline friend today by checking out what our Pediatric, Adult and Mature Adult Plans have to offer!

Cat Vaccines

Keeping your kitty up to date on their vaccines is vital, because small animal diseases and infections are much easier to prevent than they are to treat. Make sure your cat is up to date on all of their vaccines, not just their rabies vaccination. The vaccinations your cat needs regularly include:

  • FVRCP (Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calici Virus and Panleukopenia)
  • FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus)
  • Rabies

Feline Dental Care

While February is National Cat Health Month, it is also Pet Dental Awareness Month. This makes February the perfect time to bring your cat into the clinic for a dental check-up and cleaning. Without proper dental care, pets are likely to experience periodontal disease, which can cause pain, tooth loss and internal organ damage. Studies have shown that proper dental care increases pets’ longevity by 20% over the span of their lives, allowing them to lead longer, healthier lives. Additionally, consider:

  • Dental exams allow vets to look for trouble and intervene before it becomes non-reversible
  • Dental home care consists of daily brushing. There are also other choices to complement brushing, such as special diets, water addititives and sealants
